WooHoo, we no longer have a dirt lot!

A lot has happened since the last update! Matt and I moved in with Ray and Marilyn, I cannot say enough how grateful I am for them letting us (and Chloe!) move into their house for the next 5 months! We moved out of our apartment on June 23rd and put all our stuff in storage. It's kinda crazy to know your whole life fits into an 10x22 space! Our goal is to save up more than the down payment and closing costs so we can have blinds installed and the backyard landscaped as soon as possible.

The finally broke ground on the 25th, we no longer have just a dirt lot! Its now a dirt lot with some wood ;o) I would imagine that they have already poured the foundation at this point. We will go back on Saturday to take more pictures. The plan is to take at least weekly trips down to see the progress but I'm thinking we may end up going twice a week since things are going to feel like they are moving fast for the first month of building.

Here is the progress that was made as of June 30th.

Phew, the construction workers know what house they are building! Brianna, elevation H.

The garage is on the right.

The is where the kitchen will be, it looks really small from this angle but I promise its not that tiny!
Our backyard goes to about where the poll is. The house next to us will be a single story (the Alyssa) because of the larger footprint they will have a much smaller yard. You can see the difference in this picture.

Have a safe and happy 4th of July everyone! Next year, party at our house and fireworks viewing from our backyard!
